Paramount Pictures has picked up worldwide distribution rights to Mandate Pictures’ Young Adult which comes from director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) and writer Diablo Cody (Juno).
Charlize Theron stars with Patrick Wilson and Patton Oswalt. Serving as producers are Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith of Mr. Mudd Productions, Mason Novick, Diablo Cody, Jason Reitman's Right of Way Films and Denver & Delilah Films.
Reitman's next production job for Paramount Pictures is Jeff Who Lives At Home with Jason Segel and Ed Helms. That film is helmed by Jay and Mark Duplass and finds release in 2011.
