Weekend Box Office Wrap-Up: BRAVE tops charts with $66 million debut. ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER falls to MADAGASCAR 3

Brave adds another top spot to Disney Pixar's list of animated successes, posting a solid $66.7 million from 4,164 theaters, at an average of $16,028. Overseas, the fantasy adventure featuring the voice talents of Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly and Julie Walters among others, added $13.5 million, making for a $80.2 million global total.

Brave Weekend Breakdown:

- Friday: $24.51 million.
- Saturday: $23.53 million.
- Sunday: $18.68 million.

In second, Paramount/DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted showed a 41% change when posting an estimated $20 million in its third weekend at play. Total domestic cume's now past the $157 million-mark for the Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Chris Rock and Sacha Baron Cohen animated comedy. International total passes the $200 million point with $208.4 million pulled in.

Fox's third-placed debuter Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter's gross of $16.5 million from 3,108 theaters, falls into the expected debut point. The Timur Bekmambetov-directed film based on Seth Grahame-Smith's work and starring Benjamin Walker and Rufus Sewell, averaged $5,309 per theater.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Weekend Breakdown:

- Friday: $6.30 million.
- Saturday: $5.68 million.
- Sunday: $4.51 million.

In fourth, Fox's Prometheus added $10 million more, bringing it's N. American gross past $100 million with $108.5 coined thus far. 

Ending the top five list this weekend, Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman posted $8.012 million from 2,919 theaters, bringing its domestic figure to $137.05 million.

Marvel's The Avengers will top James Cameron's Titanic as far as domestic totals go this week (over $598.28 million earned), becoming the second biggest film under Avatar. Of course, we aren't taking re-release figures for Titanic into consideration, we're talking initial total grosses.

Focus Features' Steve Carell and Keira Knightley drama Seeking a Friend for the End of the World opened in 10th place with $3.8 million from 1,625 venues.

As anticipated, Sony Pictures Classics' Woody Allen comedy To Rome With Love posted a solid per-theater average, turning in $379,371 from just 5 locations, at an average of $75,874.
