The Genius Files children's book series written by Dan Gutman, will be getting bigscreen treatment via Warner Bros., who have optioned the New York Times best-sellers, reports Variety.
The story follows two brothers called Coke and Pepsi McDonald who are about to turn thirteen. Before that however, they'll be jumping off a clip, trapped in the school's locked basement, chased across the country by lunatics, and more, all in the name of national security. They manage to keep their secrets hidden from their family as the entire family travels across the US in an RV.
The first two books in the six-book series have already been published, with the third hitting stores some time in January, 2013.
