Olivier Megaton helms the eagerly-anticipated follow-up which opens in theaters on October 5th via 20th Century Fox. The first film delivered action thrills galore, and knotched up a solid $145 million domestic cume, and international box office gross of $81.8 million. Not too shabby from a $25 million budget; whether this will achieve the same result, or better, remains to be seen.
In the film, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) are taken hostage in Istanbul by the father of the kidnapper Mills killed when rescuing his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace).
