Scripted by Christopher Markus, Scott Rosenberg and Stephen McFeely, Pain and Gain is based on the Pete Collins article "Pain & Gain" which tells of a bunch of bodybuilders who took part in kidnapping, murder and extortion in Florida.
Also in the cast are Ken Jeong, Anthony Machie, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson, Kurt Angle and Michael Rispoli.
