Warner Bros. Pictures is working on a live-action/CGI film on the ever-romantic French skunk Pepé Le Pew which Myers is attached to voice.
According to New York Magazine's Vulture, Warner Bros. is making the reinvigoration of their fading American icons including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, a high priority.
The character was created in 1945 and appeared in over twelve animated short films for Warners. It even took home an Academy Award for the Best Animated Short Subject (Cartoons) back in 1949.
I loved this character when I was growing up; following his chasing around possible love prospects and, at one stage, even a cat who accidentally lined its tale with a white stripe, becoming a candidate for his romantic affections.
Know the character? Then you can't forget these:
"Au revoir, pidgeon. Sweeting is such part sorrow."
"Zee cabbage does not run away from zee corn-beef."
