Liam Neeson made news recently for replacing Mel Gibson in the part of a tattoo artist on “The Hangover 2.”
According to “Empire,” Neeson excited a devoted group of fans with confirmation that he’ll return as the Greek God Zeus for director Jonathan Liebesman’s “Clash of the Titans” sequel “Wrath of the Titans.”
“They’re on script ten,” Neeson said in an interview with the “Belfast Telegraph.” “I’ve only read half of it and there is still some work being done. But I think it’s going to be some kick-ass stuff with a very human story to it.”
Neeson joined “Clash of the Titans” cast members Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes on the sequel.
No word yet on any any new cast members joining “Wrath of the Titans” although James Franco and Javier Bardem have been mentioned as possibilities.
More importantly, at least as far as fans are concerned, no word yet if “Wrath of the Titans” will be shot in 3D instead of the poor quality post-production 3D that saddled “Clash of the Titans.”
Zeus, unleash your lightning bolt and make state-of-the-art 3D a reality!
