How the Light Gets In is a contemporary love story which is set at four hotels and stars Benicio Del Toro as a Chilean novelist living in Paris who unexpectedly falls in love with a woman.
Variety reports that producer Laura Bickford and Del Toro are reteaming for this project are working together on Traffic and Che. Bickford also produced current Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon and Brit Marling starrer Arbitrage.
How the Light Gets In gets its title from a song from Leonard Cohen, and the hunt is on for a helmer for the project. Script comes from musician/novelists/screenwriter James Greer who recently scripted Cloe, which Steven Soderbergh is directing,
