Amy Adams recently joined the father/daughter baseball drama Trouble with the Curve, playing the daughter to Clint Eastwood’s lead character, a veteran baseball scout battling blindness who takes his daughter on his last recruiting trip.
Adams, last seen opposite Jason Segel in The Muppets, continued her busy streak joining the adaptation of the Steve Martin novel OBJECT OF BEAUTY, playing an art gallery owner who has a series of romances over 15 years working in the international art world.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray signed on to produce the movie via their Maven Pictures label.
Styler and Rattray continued work on their movie Imogene starring Kristin Wiig and just started production on Filth starring James McAvoy and Jamie Bell.
In addition to Object of Beauty, up next for Adams is Man of Steel, The Master and On the Road.
No word yet on a director for Object of Beauty or a supporting cast around Adams. It is a Steve Martin novel after all, so maybe there’s a chance Martin may play a role in the movie.
