EVIL DEAD lively in top spot on Friday. Horror grosses $11.9 million TriStar and FilmDistrict's Evil Dead remake topped the box office this Friday over Jurassic Park 3D in second, grossing $11.9 million from 3,025 theaters.

Fede Alvarez directs the film starring Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci and Elizabeth Blackmore, which looks to coin around $27 million over the weekend.
