Let's see...Denzel Washington in a serious role (good or bad guy-doesn't matter), throw in one of the Ryan "it boys" (Gosling or Reynolds) and some guns. It's been done. It's been done a hundred times....but it always makes a good mind-numbing action flick. I actually went to a screening that didn't happen so my friend and I decided to give this movie a shot. I'm a fan of both Denzel and Ryan (yes, first name basis) so I probably would've seen this movie if it was about just about anything. Denzel seems to make being a bad guy that people will enjoy so simple. He makes the character of Foster who is deemed a US traitor who has sold secrets to the highest bidder. Ryan Reynolds played the rookie agent so well who makes the common mistake of being the Patriotic agent who falls for everything. I liked how Foster got in to Ryan's mind and started playing mind games with him. The movie is filled with drama and action sequences.
