Here is is already! Comic Con 2012 opens to Preview Night with a smattering of this and that for fans. The biggest draw was AMC's THE WALKING DEAD as attendees had the chance to have their picture taken as one of the zombie "pets" including wearing a neck chain. STARZ brought out their hit series SPARTACUS with a chance for spectators to put themselves in a game.
TOTAL REKALL offered those in line a chance to decide if they wanted to be a Special Agent, DJ or Fashionista and given a special badge showing what there total recall would be! LUCASFILM was on site to tease fans with their offerings from STAR WARS which never fails to disappoint. Peter Jackson's THE HOBBIT has an amazing assortment of weaponry and new characters to get to know before the film opens this December. Of course not to be outdone, the lines returned for anything TWILIGHT Pt. 2 with pins, tattoos, and shirts of all kinds to keep Twi-hards happy.
For the kids or the kid-at-heart there is Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and all things animation. Every comic book you can think of is being offered, as well as a look at the artists who bring all of your favorites from brain to page.
From posters to pins, from key fobs to can openers - preview night attendees grabbed hand over fist to be the first to get some fantastic swag. The bags this year that are highly prized (and I watched them being traded on the floor) are from PACIFIC RIM, THE HOBBIT, MAN OF STEEL, and of course BATMAN.
I was assured by all the vendors that there is enough of everything for everyone so be kind to one another, wait patiently and fill your bags with everything that is Comic Con 2012! Keep following us here starting tomorrow starting with TWILIGHT Pt. 2 and continuing on until Sunday ending with SONS OF ANARCHY. Happy Comic Con 2012!!
