WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING casts Chace Crawford

Chace Crawford joins What To Expect When You're Expecting as Anna Kendrick's flame.

Lionsgate has cast the Gossip Girl actor in the film based on Heidi Murkoff's bestseller which also stars Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker and Elizabeth Banks.

Crawford's character reunites with an attractive old flame played by Kendrick, reports Variety. The film is scheduled to start shooting mid-summer with Kirk Jones directing.

Shauna Cross wrote the final draft of the screenplay from a first draft by Heather Hach.

Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer and David Thwaites produce What To Expect When You're Expecting while Doug McKay co-produces via their Phoenix Pictures.

Heidi and Erik Murkoff are serving as executive producers as well as their literary manager Alan Nevins of Renaissance Literary & Talent.
