Daughter of Smoke and Bone for a bigscreen adaptation via Universal
Universal Pictures has acquired the worldwide rights to the young-adult book written by Laini Taylor, which was released this September, reports Variety.

Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.
