Marvel and Disney's Thor: The Dark World, starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston revealed a new title treatment and now has an official synopsis!
Fans have been waiting for the follow-up to Thor, and now have their first look at the title treatment from the Alan Taylor film which opens in theaters from November 8th, 2013. Christopher Yost, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely from the story by Don Payne based on the comic book and characters created by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber.
With helmer Taylor's experience in the super-popular HBO epic series Game of Thrones, this bumps up the hype to see the first footage of what could be a very solid sequel.

Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.
