THE DESCENDANTS movie trailer. George Clooney stars in Alexander Payne drama

The story follows a wealthy landowners who, after the death of his wife in a boating accident, tries to re-connect with his two daughters.

Alexander Payne (Sideways) directs from the screenplay by Jim Rash and Nat Faxon, based on the novel by Kaui Hart Hemmings.

The Descendants finds release on December 16th via Fox Searchlight Pictures. Also in the cast are Beau Bridges, Robert Forster, Rob Huebel, Michael Ontkean and Mary Birdsong.
