Redford helms as well as stars as a former Weather Underground activist wanted by the FBI who goes on the run after his true identity is exposed by a young and ambitious reporter (Shia LaBeouf). The strong cast also includes Sam Elliot, Nick Nolte, Richard Jenkins, Brit Marling, Brendan Gleeson, Anna Kendrick, Chris Cooper, Susan Sarandon and Stephen Root. Now that is one hell of a talented cast gathering.
Lem Dobbs wrote the script based on the novel by Neil Gordon. The Company You Keep makes its debut at the Venice Film Festival on September 6th, followed by the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9th.
