Adam Sandler received plenty of negative attention at the 32nd Razzie Awards sweeping all ‘worst film’ categories including Worst Actor and Worst Actress for his dual-role comedy Jack and Jill.
Sandler dusted himself off and stayed busy prepping for Grown Ups 2, the sequel to his 2010 Columbia Pictures comedy with Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner joined Grown Ups 2 in what the studio described as a “fun” role.
Sandler also signed on to produce Grown Ups 2 with Jack Giarraputo and Grown Ups director Dennis Dugan returning to helm the sequel.
Lautner, 20, also starred in the action thriller Abduction and the ensemble romance Valentine’s Day in addition to reprising his role as the werewold Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga franchise.
Sandler recently joined his Happy Madison partner Jack Giarraputo as co-producers on the remake of the Carl Reiner comedy Summer School, about a high school gym teacher (Mark Harmon) forced to give up his summer break and a teach a summer school English class to a room of lazy students.
