SNITCH starring Dwayne Johnson lands at Summit Entertainment

Dwayne Johnson starrer Snitch, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, will be distributed by Summit in the U.S.

Exclusive Media, Participant Media and Imagenation Abu Dhabi co-finance the film and Exclusive Films International is handling global sales, which started at Cannes this week.

Exclusive is producing alongside David Fanning of Frontline, Johnson and his producing partner Dany Garcia.

Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road) wrote the story inspired the Frontline documentary. The story tells of a suburban father (played by Johnson) whose teen son is sentenced to 10 years under mandatory minimum drug laws. In an effort to reduce his son's sentence, the father goes undercover to snag a senior drug dealer.

Aside from Snitch, Johnson was last seen in the rivetting Faster from CBS Films. Catch that one, you'll love it.
