007 is in top form as the Daniel Craig starrer Skyfall has now passed $151.9 million to become the U.K.'s highest grossing film of all time. Variety reports that the Sam Mendes-directed action thriller which is the 23rd film in the Bond franchise, reached a big £94.3 million ($151.9 million) after a mere 40 days of release, passing even James Cameron's Avatar which itself achieve a total U.K. lifetime gross of over $151.5 million, and Skyfall is still clocking in the numbers.
Domestically, Skyfall's accumulated a hefty $246.7 million and other international territories summed up with the U.K., add to over $623 million. Pic is approaching the $1 billion mark with over $869.7 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
Also in the cast of the excellent film are Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Berenice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw and Albert Finney.
John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade script the Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson-produced film. If you haven't caught it already, it's a must-see.
