Screen Actors Guild Award Nominees Complete List. The Help Leads Nominees

The Help Leads Nominees. The Help, The Artist, The Descendants, Bridesmaids land SAG Nominations

DreamWorks Pictures' critically-beloved drama The Help, topped the list of nominees for the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, scoring four nominations. The Tate Taylor-directed and scripted film based on the novel by Kathryn Stockett, received noms for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role (Viola Davis), Best Supporting Role for Jessica Chastain as well as Octavia Spencer and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

George Clooney scored a nomination for his work in The Descendants, as did Brad Pitt for Moneyball, Jean Dujardin for The Artist, Leonardo DiCaprio for J. Edgar and Demian Bichir for A Better Life.

Other female actors in leading roles landing nominations included Glenn Close for Albert Nobbs, Meryl Strep for The Iron Lady and Tilda Swinton for We Need to Talk About Kevin.

TV Actors-wise, HBO dominated, landing four out of the five nominations with Laurence Fishburne for Thurgood, Guy Pearce for Mildred Pierce, and both Paul Giamatti and James Woods for Too Big to Fail. Greg Kinnear completes the list for his work on Reelz Channel's The Kennedy's.

Female actors scoring nominations for their work included Diane Lane for Cinema Verite, Maggie Smith for Downton Abbey, Betty White for Hallmark Hall of Fame: The Lost Valentine and Emily Watson for Appropriate Adult.
