Django Unchained lands Rex Linn as Tennessee Harry
CSI: Miami's Detective Frank Tripp has landed a role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, reports Deadline. He joins a cast including Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Kurt Russell, Kerry Washington, Don Johnson, RZA, Anthony LaPaglia, Gerald McRainey and M.C. Gainey among others
Linn is also in the critically-acclaimed Walking Dead series and film-wise, was last seen in the Appaloosa western with Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, Renee Zellweger and Jeremy Irons starring.
Foxx stars as a freed slave who joins forces with a German bounty hunter called Schultz to take on evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), and get back his long-lost love (Washington).
Django Unchained is being produced by Stacey Sher, Pilar Savone and Reginald Hudlin. Harvey Weinstein, Michael Shamberg and Jim Skotchdopole are serving as executive producers.
