Patrick M. Healy to adapt EATING WITH THE ENEMY

Based on the book Eating With the Enemy: How I Waged Peace With North Korea From My BBQ Shack in Hackensack by Robert Egan and Kurt Pitzer.

Patrick M. Healy will adapt the script for HBO which has set James Gandolfini to play Bobby Egan, a restaurant owner in Hackensack, N.J. restaurant owner who started a relationship with the Upper Manhattan-based North Korean United Nations mission, moving on to play an important role in relatins between N. Korea and the U.S.

Tribeca Productions' Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, James Gandolfini, Nancy Sanders and Mark Armstrong are executive producing while Kurt Pitzer and Kimberly Levin of Attaboy Films co-produce.
