Nicholas Braun, Mackenzie Davis, Josh Fadem and Chris Zylka are in talks to star in Robbie Pickering's The Kitchen Sink.
Variety reports that Matt Tolmach produces alongside Matt Tolmach from the script by Oren Uziel (scribe of Kevin Tancharoen's upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot).
The Kitchen Sink tells of Davis and Braun's characters who band together with vampires and zombies to combat an alien army.
Sony has given the greenlight to the film and will start shooting some time this summer.
Davis was last seen in James Ponsoldt's (The Spectacular Now) Smashed alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aaron Paul and Octavia Spencer. The actress can also be seen in Breathe In at this year's Sundance Film Festival. That film includes Guy Pearce, Felicity Jones, Kyle MacLachlan and Amy Ryan.
Braun was in the appalling The Watch starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill. After that, he played Ponytail Derek in Summit Entertainment's critically-acclaimed The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He's completed work in Dylan Kidd's Get a Job comedy with Anna Kendrick, Bryan Cranston, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Alison Brie, John Cho and Marcia Gay Harden starring.
Fadem's been in several short pics, and is also the writer of The Eric Andre Show. He's in post-production phase on Christopher Good's Mudjackin' drama with Jimmy Darrah and Wilson Vance.
Finally, Zylka landed his biggest role in the recent The Amazing Spider-Man as Flash Thompson. Prior to that, he starred in the appalling Piranha 3DD and the even-worse shark thriller Shark Night 3D with Sarah Paxton, Chris Carmack, Katharine McPhee, Donal Logue and Joel David Moore.
