Check out new posters for X-Men: First Class with Magneto and Professor X!
Character faces shadowed within their destined role in the X-Men series looks pretty intriguing. The 20th Century Fox release which has Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr (a.k.a. Magneto) and James McAvoy starring as Professory Charles Xavier, opens on June 3rd and also stars Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme (a.k.a. Mystique), Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy (a.k.a. Beast), January Jones as Emma Frost, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Rose Byrne as Dr. Moira MacTaggert and Jason Flemyng as Azazel among others.
Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Stardust) directs X-Men: First Class from the script by Jane Goldman, Ashley Miller, Josh Schwartz, Jamie Moss and Zack Stentz, from the story by Bryan Singer.
PLOT: Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.
