New MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - GHOST PROTOCOL tops Thursday box office with $6.4 million

Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol continues box office dominance
Wide opener update on the top four films at the box office:
Paramount Pictures' action thriller helmed by Brad Bird kept on going strongly at the box office, turning in $6.4 million on Thursday, and pulling its U.S. cume to over $32.4 million. The film which also stars Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Josh Holloway, made $8.92 million from Wednesday sales.
Variety reports that Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol has also posted over $96 million up until Wednesday.
Warner Bros. Pictures' sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows actually saw a rise in gross, posting $4.8 million, while Sony's English-language The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo added $3.3 million, making for an $8.4 million domestic cume thus far.
Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin managed $2.4 million on Thursday, up from Wednesday's $2.3 million opening gross.
