Post-Harry Potter plans continued for the cast and crew of the Warner Bros. franchise phenomenon.
The latest development plans involved the female component of the Heroic Trio, Hermione, or actress Emma Watson.
First Showing reported that producer Denise Di Novi confirmed plans for a new take on the Beauty and the Beast myth with Guillermo del Toro in talks to direct and Watson to play the Beauty.
Watson also spoke admiringly of her character Hermione but a role for director Guillermo del Toro looked to be a great next step away from Harry Potter.
"Hermione's been like my sister," Watson said earlier. "She feels real to me. I will miss being her. That is devastating. She has pushed me and made me a better person."
Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the Harry Potter ensemble come together one last time for the record-breakling Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
