Variety reported today that Branca began extended talks with Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock of the Montecito Picture Company to determine their interest in financing and producing a Michael Jackson movie.
Branca remained mum on details regarding the Jackson estate’s guidelines regarding any potential movie except to say the story would focus on particular periods of the King of Pop’s life.
With plans for a Michael Jackson movie in the early discussion stage, Branco and the Jackson estate continued work on Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour.
