Marton Csokas has been cast in Darren Aronofsky's "Noah," as well as landing the male lead alongside Thandie Newton in "Rogue," DirectTV original series, reports Deadline.
In "Noah," he'll join Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson and Jennifer Connelly in the film scripted by John Logan from the original by Aronofsky and Ari Handel.
Rogue series stars Newton as an undercover cop who aims to bring down a crime lord after (played by Csokas) after her young son loses his life from a drive-by shooting.
Matthew Parkhill writes while Nick Hamm, Steven Marrs, Michael Rosenberg and John Morayniss serve as executive producers.
Csokas' credits include "Kingdom of Heaven," "Asylum," Alice in Wonderland," "The Debt" and the current "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." He also played Celeborn in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King."
