DreamWorks' third installment in the hilarious animated franchise opens June 8th, 2012 in Readl 3D and Digital 3D. Eric Darnell, director and scribe of the first two films, returns to the helm, directing from the screenplay by Noah Baumbach (Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Squid and the Whale, Greenberg).
In Madagascar 3, Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer) and Gloria the Hippo (Jada Pinkett-Smith) join a traveling circus in an effort to get back home to New York.
Also in the cast are Frances McDormand, Cedric the Entertainer, Sherri Shepherd, Andy Richter and André Benjamin.
