Lindsay Lohan’s next gig won’t be on a movie set. Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced the Mean Girls star to 480 hours of community service in addition to 120 days in jail for violating her parole after walking out a jewelry store with a $2,500 gold necklace around her neck in January.
According to The New York Post, Lohan posted $75K in bail in anticipation of her June 3 court date for her grand theft charge. But Sautner made it clear Lohan must start her community service within a week despite her appeal. Sautner ordered the troubled actress to 360 hours at a Downtown L.A. women’s center and 120 hours at the Mission Road coroner’s office.
“We have community service workers all the time,” Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner’s office told the L.A. Times. “They do janitorial tasks. They clean up and sweep up.”
Lohan earlier turned down a plea deal from Los Angeles prosecutors that would have included a 90-day jail sentence.
In terms of acting, Lohan returned to the cast of the mobster drama Gotti: Three Generations - this time as the wife of John Gotti Jr.
Better yet, maybe Lohan will create a script out of her morgue duty. Consider this: a Hollywood actress falls in love with a zombie boy and helps make him a Hollywood star. What do you think?
