20th Century Fox continued to move forward with casting on director John Moore’s highly anticipated DIE HARD 5, the latest installment in the popular Die Hard franchise starring Bruce Willis as heroic New York City cop John McClane.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moore, who replaced original Die Hard 5 director Noam Murro, prepared to read various actors to play Willis’ son including Aaron Paul, Ben Foster and leading favorite Liam Hemsworth.
The 21-year-old Australian actor and brother to Thor star Chris Hemsworth recently wrapped his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games and continued work on the action movie The Expendables 2.
Skip Woods (Swordfish, Hitman, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The A-Team) wrote Die Hard 5 with the story involving McClane heading to Russia with his son.
Moore last directed the 2008 adaptation of the popular shooter video game Max Payne starring Mark Wahlberg as the gun-toting New York City police detective and Mila Kunis as Mona Sax, a woman who partners with Payne to find the person or thing that killed her sister (Olga Kurylenko).
