Kirsten Dunst used publicity and strong reviews for her role in the much-delayed specialty drama "All Good Things," a tale inspired by the real-life story of Robert Durst (Ryan Gosling), the son of real estate magnate Seymour Durst and a suspect in the disappearance of his wife Kathie McCormack (Dunst), to promote her commitment to a drama based on the life and career of Blondie singer Debbie Harry.
According to London’s “Sun,” the former “Spider-Man” star admitted that Harry wanted to wait on the film for awhile but she remained hopeful it would happen soon.
“Debbie wanted to put it off for awhile,” Dunst said. “But in a year or two she might want to do it again. I’d love to play her. Music is a passion of mine. If I weren’t acting, maybe I’d have sung in a band or played an instrument.”
Dunst recently joined the cast of "On the Road," the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic Beat Generation novel to be produced by Francis Ford Coppola and directed by Walter Salles.
The Magnolia Pictures release "All Good Things," starring Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst as the troubled married couple, is currently playing select cinemas as well as VOD.
