Julia Roberts made quite an entrance in the recent trailer for director Tarsem Singh’s Snow White adventure Mirror, Mirror with her flowing gowns and extravagant jewels as the evil queen.
While Mirror, Mirror is a sprawling, fantasy epic starring Lily Collins as Snow White and Armie Hammer as the handsome prince, Roberts took the leadership role in the workplace comedy SECOND ACT as its producer via her Red Om Films label and agreeing to play the lead role as well. Roberts partnered with New Regency on Second Act.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, details about Second Act remained sketchy at best without a director or screenwriter currently attached.
Still, Roberts and her producing partners Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas as well as Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray of Maven Pictures summed up the plot as the story of a woman who never worked (Roberts) who finds herself forced to take a job.
Roberts was last seen opposite Tom Hanks in the romantic-comedy Larry Crowne.
