Skyfall writer John Logan will write the 24th and 25th James Bond films
The 23rd film in the 007 franchise opens on November 9th in the U.S., and starts its run this weekend overseas. Logan's on board for the next two, which means that they'll probably be shot back-to-back. Variety reports that MGM had no comment about Logan's attachment to the next two films. Logan scripted Skyfall alongside Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, which is so far generating solid user ratings on several sites including IMDb.
Logan's on the best in the business with writing credits including Gladiator, Any Given Sunday, The Time Machine, The Last Samurai, The Aviator, Rango, Coriolanus, Hugo and the upcoming Noah helmed by Darren Aronofsky, which opens 2014.
Skyfall also stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Rory Kinear and Albert Finney.
