Jake T. Austin to play Huck Finn in TOM SAWYER & HUCKLEBERRY FINN

Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn casts Jake T. Austin as Tom Sawyer.

Jake T. Austin is in final negotiations to play Huck Finn, joining Joel Courtney (Super 8) who will play Tom Sawyer.

Jo Kastner directs as well as producing alongside Marcus Weinhart.

Production is scheduled to start in August in Bulgaria.

Aside from Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, Austin starred alongside Emma Roberts in Hotel For Dogs and was last heard in 20th Century Fox's animated Rio. He's up next in Garry Marshall's New Year's Eve which opens via Warner Bros. Pictures on December 9th.
