The modern-day fairy tale focuses on the kidnapping of a princess, threatening the long-standing peace between giants and men. The hero is a young farmer who leads an expedition to the giant kingdom in order to rescue the princess.
Also in the cast of the Bryan Singer (X-Men, Valkyrie) film are Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Ewen Bremner, Eddie Marsan, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ralph Brown, Andrew Brooke and Ben Daniels.
Pic is scripted by Christopher McQuarrie, Dan Studney, Darren Lemke and Mark Bomback, from the story by David Dobkin. If all goes well, this should be a winner.
