Mira Nair's The Reluctant Fundamentalist starring Riz Ahmed, Liev Schreiber, Kate Hudson and Kiefer Sutherland, based on the novel by Mohsin Hamid, will be distributed by IFC Films, reports Variety.
The film opened at the Venice Film Festival and made its U.S. premiere at the recent Toronto International Film Festival.
The Reluctant Fundamentalist stars Ahmed as a young Pakistani whose aim to make it big in Wall Street, leads him back to the world he once knew and left behind.
Bill Wheeler adapted the script from the story by Ami Boghan and Hamid. Cine Mosaic's Lydia Dean Pilcher produced while the Doha Film Institute financed the Cine Mosaic and Mirabai Films production.
