Alexander Skarsgard joins Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer's Hidden horror thriller.
The Duffer twins are set to direct Hidden from their own spec script, which has now landed Battleship's Skarsgard in the story of a family hiding in a bomb shelter after escaping a mysterious outbreak, reports Variety.
Pic is being produced by Mason Novick, Richard Zanuck, Roy Lee and Lawrence Grey, with John Middleton and Sebastian Aloi serving as executive producers.
Skarsgard was last seen in Lars von Trier's Melancholia and the Straw Dogs remake. As far as Battleship goes, the Universal Pictures sci-fi actioner based on Hasbro's classic naval board game opens May 18th, and also stars John Carter's Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna
He recently finished work on The East helmed by Zal Batmanlij and Henry-Alex Rubin's Disconnect with Paula Patton, Max Thieriot, Michael Nyqvist, Frank Grillo, Jonah Bobo, Hope Davis and Andrea Riseborough.
