FRIGHT NIGHT summer preview images!

See new movie images from Fright Night. Stars Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, David Tenant, Imogen Poots and Toni Collette! Craig Gillespie directs the horror comedy remake, from the script by Marti Noxon and the story by Tom Holland.

Also in the cast of Fright Night are Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse,  and Reid Ewing.

The original 1985 film was written and directed by Holland and starred Chris Sarandon, Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale.

In Fright Night, A teenager called Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) discovers his neighbor (Colin Farrell as Jerry Dandridge) is a vampire. This interferes with his relationship with his girlfriend Amy Peterson (Imogen Poots) in more than one ways than one as it turns out she may be a modern day version of a prior love interest of the vamp. With the aid of faded veteran actor Peter Vincent (David Tennant) of the classic Fright Night TV series, Charlie must take but what is his and rid the neighborhood of the eerie vamp.

The new version will apparently try keep the comedy-horror tone.
