Metropolitan tells of three sets of detectives who work in Washington D.C.
Fox has picked up the script written by Jason Tracey, who also executive produces alongside Liman of Hynopic and David Bartis.
Variety reports that Universal Cable Productions is producing with whom Liman already has a deal with and produces the half-hour-long comedy I Just Want My Parents Back, airing on MTV.
Aside from Metropolitan, Tracey's writing credits include USA Network's popular Burn Notice as well as the Pleading Guilty TV movie, Cold Case and Just Legal.
