Check out the final poster for Lionsgate's Dredd, starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey. The Pete Travis-directed sci-fi actioner scripted by Alex Garland from the characters created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, opens on September 21st. I'm not sold on Dredd as much as I wasn't sold on Lionsgate's Conan the Barbarian either. Sure, Judge Dredd with Sylvester Stallone wasn't amazing, but did it did have some laughs and a story that seems more close to the beloved graphic novels. After watching this odd clip where bullets find jello-like flesh, I'm convinced - this is a stinker like Conan, hence the out of summer release date. But hey, I could be wrong and the film may deliver some great action sequences and turn out to be a decent popcorn actioner.
