Gerald McRaney (Deadwood) may join Jamie Foxx starrer Django Unchained.
The actor is currently in negotiations to join Weinstein Co.'s Quentin Tarantino-helmed and directed pic which also includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kevin Costner.
This comes after news that Samuel L. Jackson will also joined Django Unchained as a house slave.
Jamie Foxx stars as Django, a freed slave who joins forces with a German bounty hunter to take on Leonardo DiCaprio's Calvin Candie character who is an evil plantation owner, and get back his long-lost love.
The Weinstein Company distributes domestically and Sony Pictures has overseas duties. Production stars this November with a Christmas Day, 2012 release date currently in the books.
