DISCONNECT casts Alexander Skarsgard, Frank Grillo, Colin Ford and Michael Nyqvist

Scripted by Andrew Stern, the story follows characters who are affected by the internet and other forms of communication, and in some cases destroyed.

Henry Alex Rubin directs the independent drama where Skarsgard stars as a struggling former Marine, trying to make ends meet, who is emotionally detached from his wife and seeks an affair.

Grillo would play a single father and computer safety expert whose concerned about his 15-year-old sons exposure to online dangers.

Rubin is the helmer of the award-winning Murderball documentary and makes his feature directorial debut on Disconnect.

Andrea Riseborough is apparently also circling a role, reports Variety.
