Derek Jacobi has joined Olivier Dahan's Grace of Monaco starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly. He'll play Count Fernando D'Aillieres in the film also starring Tim Roth, Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia, Paz Vega, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Robert Lindsay and Geraldine Somerville.
Variety reports that Pierre-Ange Le Pogam produces alongside Uday Chopra of YRF Entertainment, and writer Arash Amel.
Jacobi will play aristocrat Count Fernando D'Aillieres, an expert on all-things-Monaco who aided in turning Kelly from an American movie star to a refined princess.
Film-wise, Jacobi was recently seen in My Week with Marilyn with Michelle Williams, Eddie Redmayne and Kenneth Branagh. He's finished work on Universal's comedy Hippie Hippie Shake with Cillian Murphy, Sienna Miller, Chris O'Dowd, Hugh Bonneville and Max Minghella.
