Little House on the Prairie may home David Gordon Green as helmer of Abi Morgan script
Sony Pictures is apparently in negotiations to bring the beloved classic TV series Little House On The Prairie to the bigscreen and has director David Gordon Green in talks for helming duties. According to Deadline, the deal hasn't materialized yet.
Scott Rudin will produce Prairie alongside Trip Friendly.
Based on the classic children’s book series written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little House On The Prairie was turned into a TV series which ran from 1964 until 1973, starring Michael Landon, Melissa Gilbert, Lindsay Greenbush, Sidney Greenbush and Karen Grassle.
The story follows the life and adventures of the Ingalls family and is set in the 19th century American West.
