Tintin and Captain America at Comic-Con 2011!
The hectic Comic-Con of 2011 continues, but the fun never ends for fans of the hugely popular event. We caught the screening of Captain America: The First Avenger where Chris Evans turned up to please the fans, showing his admiration for the men and women who serve our country, receiving a great amount of applause from the audience which included U.S. forces in attendance.
We have pics of Evans and fans at the event for your viewing pleasure below, which can be found in our Comic-Con Group among other images added from Comic-Con.
Captain America: The First Avenger started his box office run on Friday with a hefty $25 million take. It deserves it. The film is sensational and I absolutely adored Joe Johnston's work at the helm. The characters work well, are believable emotionally and the film just works so well, flowing at ease in terms of action, romance and comedy combined. Catch it!
Additionally, we've added several videos from the Tintin Press Conference with producer Peter Jackson and director Steven Spielberg as well as interviews and broll.
The exciting release opens December 23rd this year and stars Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, Cary Elwes, Nick Frost, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Cook and Tony Curran.
Joe Cornish, Stephen Moffat and Edgar Wright wrote the screenplay, based on the comic book series "The Adventures of Tintin" by Hergé.
