Clint Eastwood's J. EDGAR starring Leonardo DiCaprio sets release date

Warner Bros. Pictures has set a release date for Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar starring Leonardo DiCaprio for November 9th. Pic will open on a Wednesday and expand on the weekend.

J.Edgar's cast includes Naomi Watts, Ed Westwick, Damon Herriman, Armie Hammer, Ken Howard and Josh Lucas. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard produce alongside Malpaso Pictures' Eastwood and Rob Lorenz. 

J. Edgar Hoover began his duties as the director of the Bureau of Investigation in 1924. 11 years later, he became the head of the FBI and  remained director until his death in 1972.
