CBGB has added more to its cast with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, The Borgias' Mickey Sumner and Johnny Galecki of The Big Bang Theory now in the Randall Miller film.
Variety reports that Hawkins is in as Iggy Pop, Sumner will play Patti Smith, while Galecki takes the part of Terry Ork, band manager.
Also hopping on board are Steven Schub of 24, She's Out of My League's Evan Alex Cole, Kerry Bische of Red State and Peter Vack of MTV's I Just Want My Pants Back.
They join the existing cast of Malin Akerman, Alan Rickman, Stana Katic, Rupert Grint, Joel David More, Ryan Hurst, Josh Zuckerman, Estelle Harris and Julian Acosta.
CBGB (Country, Bluegrass and Blues) tells of the 1970s-created nightclub owned by Hilly Kristal (Rickman) and starts shooting late June.
Miller helms as well as scripting alongside Jody Savin.
