The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences continued to get ready for its 84th Academy Awards Feb. 26 by announcing another Oscar telecast presenter today.
Cameron Diaz did not receive any Oscar nominations for her 2011 releases The Green Hornet or Bad Teacher but she’ll enjoy her share of the Oscar stage just the same as a presenter.
Diaz, who claims her share of Oscar glory as a cast member of the Oscar-winning animated feature Shrek, joins fellow actress Halle Berry, announced yesterday as an Oscar presenter in addition to Tom Cruise, coming off one of the biggest hits of his career, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and the cast of the acclaimed comedy Bridesmaids.
In addition to her Oscar duties, Diaz, will return to cinemas for the ensemble comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting and a remake of the ’60s caper film Gambit co-starring Colin Firth.
Billy Crystal returns for the ninth time as host of the Academy Awards telecast and the 84th Academy Awards Ceremony takes place Sunday February 26, 2012 at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.
Look for more presenters to be named in the next week. Oscar fans, do you have any wish list names you’d like to see the Academy choose as presenters?
